Simple to Apply

To apply for a card you must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Have a UK bank or building society account
• Be a permanent resident of the UK
• Be able to provide a landline telephone number for home or work
• Have a regular source of income through full-time employment or part-time employment of more than 16 hours per week (this can be you or your partner), or be a student, retired or on incapacity benefit

You will also need to have the following to hand:

• Your address details for the last 3 years
• Your bank or building society details
• Your employer's name and address
• A pen and paper to write down your application reference number

By completing and submitting your card application online you are confirming that all information provided by you is true and complete and that you are at least 18 years of age.
